Your data is entrusted to us — we take care of it. This page summarises what we collect, what it is used for, and how to exercise your rights — in strict compliance with GDPR.
Data collected
We only collect data that you voluntarily provide through our contact or brochure request forms:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Preferred stay or event date
- Number of guests
- Free-form message
Purposes
Your data is used solely to:
- Respond to your reservation, quote or information request
- Send you the requested brochure
- Manage your stay or event
Your data is never sold, shared or used for third-party commercial purposes.
Retention
Unfulfilled requests are kept for 3 years from last contact. Data linked to an actual stay is kept for 10 years for accounting and tax reasons (legal obligation).
Sub-processors
The contact form is processed via Formspree (United States, GDPR-compliant via Standard Contractual Clauses).
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your personal data. To exercise them, write to contact@laverrerie.fr with proof of identity.

III — Stay Terms
Stay Terms
Here are the conditions of a stay at La Verrerie — be it a night, a wedding or a seminar. Five minutes to read. If anything is unclear, write to us — we will answer personally.
Booking
All booking requests are made via the online form, by email or by telephone. A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of the deposit ([to confirm: 30% for stays, 50% for weddings…]).
Rates
Displayed rates are in euros, all taxes included. They may vary by season and service. The applicable rate is the one shown on the signed quote.
Payment
The balance for stays is due on the day of arrival. The balance for events (weddings, seminars) is due no later than 30 days before the planned date. Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, credit card (terminal on site), cash (up to €1,000).
Cancellation
Cancellation policies vary by service:
- Bed & breakfast stays: free cancellation up to 7 days prior. Beyond, the deposit is retained.
- Wedding / private event: [to confirm: tiered scale]

In cases of force majeure, conditions are reviewed flexibly.
Liability
La Verrerie of Épinac declines liability for theft, loss or damage to personal items brought by guests. Professional liability insurance covers damages caused by our activity.
Mediation

Governing law
These T&C are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mâcon, after attempted amicable resolution.
