The rooms
Our two rooms
On the first floor of the house, the rooms have been designed in the spirit of the place, the Épinac glassworks (1755-1931). Each enjoys a restful view over the park and has a private bathroom with toilet, as well as Wi-Fi (fibre). Depending on the season, breakfast is served in the heart of the house or on the terrace, looking out over the park.

The house
On the former glassworks site
We fell for this place, steeped in history and full of charm. Our aim is to give it back its character while bringing it the comforts of today. Restoring it step by step keeps bringing lovely surprises that spur us on: little by little, the house is regaining all its authenticity. So the part where we welcome you today is fully finished, while the rest of the house carries on, at its own pace, with its revival.
The story of the house
Set at the edge of the park, the house is thought to have been built around 1780-1790 to lodge, at different times, the master glassmakers and the foremen, and to house administrative offices. After the Épinac glassworks closed for good in 1934, the building and its park became private property.
Bottles and glassmaking remnants found on site bear witness to this past. The Mine, Glassworks and Railway Museum, close by in the village, takes the discovery further.
The park
An exceptional park of century-old trees
As the seasons pass, the park transforms itself: colours, light and atmosphere shift, painting an ever-changing picture. Its elevated position opens up lovely views over the surrounding countryside, notably towards the Château d'Épinac, and lends itself to remarkable sunsets. A place made for contemplation and renewal.
Discover the park
Covering nearly 9,000 m², the park brings together a great variety of tree species, several of them over a hundred years old. A tarmac drive runs right through it, while garden paths invite you to explore its every corner.

Is breakfast included?
Yes, it is included in the nightly rate. It is served in the house, or outdoors depending on the season.
How many guests can you welcome?
Two adults per room, with a baby cot available on request. Each room has its own private bathroom with WC.

On the property, free of charge. The park is enclosed.
Do you offer table d'hôte dinners?
It is in the works, planned for spring 2027. In the meantime, we will gladly point you to good places to eat nearby.
What is there to do nearby?
The remains of the Épinac mines are a five-minute walk from the park. Autun and its Romanesque cathedral are twenty minutes away, Beaune and the Route des Grands Crus thirty-five, and Le Creusot and its industrial heritage half an hour.

Do you accept pets?
On request. When you write, tell us about the animal travelling with you and we will confirm.
Are children welcome?
Yes. Each room has just one double bed, but a baby cot can be set up on request.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is between 5 pm and 8 pm, check-out between 8 am and 11 am. If your train or your journey means another time, just tell us: we will work something out.
What is your cancellation policy?
For a booking made through Booking.com, the conditions shown on your Booking.com confirmation apply. For a booking made directly with us, we agree on them together when we confirm your stay.
How much is a night?
From €110 to €130 per night for two people, breakfast included, depending on the season. The rate is the same for both rooms.
€110 from November to March, €120 from April to June and in September and October, €130 in July and August.
Is the house wheelchair accessible?
Sadly not. Both rooms are on the first floor and are reached by a staircase: the house is not suited to guests with reduced mobility.
